At first glance one would think this is a gimmick. But then we remember the folks that harass hunters while in the field. I think we need to reevaluate conservation in the States and include wilderness management as well. We need to get back to healthy sustainable Public lands hunting and fishing. Private land and 2-6 Thousand Dollars to kill a buck is not sustainable as a management practice if we wish to get the younger generations involved in the outdoors.

Very true. In NC we have public game lands which offer hunting and fishing opportunities.

Hunters and fisherman "give" more money to protecting wildlife and their habitat than any tree huger does. Then lets look at deer vs. car dollars and the subsequent insurance rates. If you stop hunting the deer population will quickly outgrow the habitat that is available and vehicle encounters WILL rise. Getting our kids involved in the outdoors and education is the key.
