It doesn't surprise me that the article pokes holes in a common misperception perpetuated by the left. While there is no doubt that there is way too many "Mass Shootings" in the USA, what defines a mass shooting and under what circumstances effects the counting. First, what exactly defines a "mass shooting". Is it 2 or more, or is the number higher? If two or more people are committing a crime and are shot, is that a mass shooting? Another issue is how are shootings being counted in other countries? There are mass shootings everyday in Africa, South America, and the Mid East. It is difficult to believe that countries such as Mexico, Syria, Afghanistan, and numerous other countries don't have higher numbers. Finally, the term "mass shootings" is a trick of the left wing media to focus on gun control in the USA. If you change the term to "mass deaths" or "mass injuries", the statistics change. How many bombing has the USA had compared to other countries? How many mass poisonings? Knife attacks? Vehicle attacks? How many religious related deaths? Suicides? If you focus on what really matters, the injuries or deaths, instead of the tools used, the USA is suddenly nowhere near the lead.
