Personally, I have the Henry AR-7. My only problem with it is the plastic non-locking dovetail front sight.

Years ago, I wanted a "truck gun" in 22-250. what I ended up with is the Rossi trifecta youth model in .22/.243/20 gauge. It has become a favorite of everyone in the family, because of the versatility and, believe it or not, accuracy. I like it so much, I just commissioned a barrel in 7.62x25 (tokarev) to give my grand daughter and grandson a .30 caliber option, albeit, short ranged. The little thing is easy to handle, tough and has been well used.

I have a Keltec Sub 2000, while it is a .40 S&W, it does take glock mags and that is a bonus as now I have a carbine to go with my pistols. I wish it were in 10MM, but hey you can't have everything.
