It would be interesting to know which troops we actually engaged. If the US were to attempt something along these lines the "contractors" would be high speed LI, rangers, SF, or all of the above. Under normal circumstances we wouldn't attempt something like this without the most highly trained troops being used. I don't know what these foreign leaders are thinking. Just because most of our political elite are chicken-sh_t doesn't mean the military is also. When the politicians urn us loose, we will ____ you up and in no time flat. I hope everyone is paying attention; this is what they should expect if they threaten us operationally.
