1. Japan opened its market to Idaho fresh chipping potatoes.
2. United States and China reached agreement to reopen China’s market to U.S. exports of beef.
3. South Korea lifted a ban on U.S. poultry and poultry products.
4. Colombia's new agreement, lifts costly mitigation requirements and expands access which is nearly a $60 million market for U.S. rough rice.
5. China's Year-end 2017 purchases of U.S. corn exceeded 800,000 tons, compared to 185,000 tons in 2016.
6. Thailand to expand U.S. beef exports to Thailand to include deboned and bone-in beef muscle cuts, regardless of cattle age, a 46 percent increase from 2016.
7. Vietnam lifted its ban on U.S. exports of dried distillers grains (DDGs) and ended restrictive fumigation requirements for U.S. corn and wheat.
8. China announced the delay on the new requirement that all foods, including low-risk processed foods, enter China with an export certificate.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr very true, if it causes hard ship for the farmers, it will trickle down to places like where I work, or those that are independent agriculture equipment repair personnel.
