CW5 Jack Cardwell I don't feel so lazy now. I am a speller catastrophe but these guys need international airborne spell check.

CW5 Jack Cardwell - I lost all my spelling ability as well, even though I have my M. A. in English Literature.
I think we often lose basic skills as we advance to higher sophistication in a field. I remember a programmer I worked with who had his master's in Mathematics. We never let him keep score when we played pinochle, he always screwed it up.
As he explained it, "I forgot how to add and subtract. I only know stuff like calculus and 3-dimensional trigonometry".
(I got "trigonometry" right with the help of spell-check.)
