The warrant begins with this "statements of fact":
"The target of this application is an agent of a foreign power" It is the first fact stated and it is not a "might be" it is that he "is". It is a fact that is material to the surveillance set up and the pursuit that began.
If this statement is incorrect/not a fact, then this entire warrant is not worth the paper it is printed on. To date, Carter Page still is a free man. No indictment, arrest, charge, trial or conviction. I don't know Page and have no idea where the truth really lies on this.
I can tell you that if, as the FBI, you are going after a US Citizen as a spy for a foreign power, you better have your facts aligned and on terra firma. Page has denied the allegation that he is an agent and the FBI has not arrested him or charged him.
It seems to be that since this is out in the public domain, the FBI ought to charge him or tell the public they have no evidence to charge him and clear his name. Two years is a long time to build a case, get an indictment, arrest and charge someone that they think is this dangerous.

Carter Page was at one time connected with the FBI. He was either an informant or a contractor for them. So we are to believe the FBI hired and paid a foreign Intel agent to work for them in earlier case(s) but now he needs to be the focus of an investigation? This is a government run set-up pure and simple. This is no different then how the FBI/ATF ran an operation against the Branch Dividians. They conducted themselves in an illegal manner while using the media to vilify their target. The only difference here is Mr. Trump is pushing back.
