I'll answer your question. Yes, I believe that some of the accounts of the women accusing Trump of infidelity are probably true. Here's the thing, the Democrat party made it clear that what happens in the bedroom is none of our business back in the 90s. Of course, most Republicans agreed with that. What they had a problem with were the sexual harassment claims, which a President had to lie about when it came to pointing out his his infidelity. Did he harass those women or not? Who knows? Nothing was definitively proven. But he did in fact lie about having a sexual relationship with an intern in order to prevent the prosecution from building a case? Yup!

That said, there is SO much less to go on with Kavanaugh in this case. People are simply inclined to believe Ford base on arguments like "why would she lie". On the other side, sure there could be a bias as well, but the fact still remains that they are correct in demanding proof. If Kavanaugh is taken down on these allegations alone without any evidence, we will set a very dangerous precedent. As I've told you already, a SCOTUS pick is not selected on public opinion. Kavanaugh has not committed perjury and this latest claim is essentially the recollections of someone who was drunk, could not remember very much, and yet still distinctly remember's Kavanaugh exposing himself.

I'm sorry, but I want to address one thing before continuing. I made no reference to affairs. I don't care about affairs because that's a choice each party made. I am asking about the dozens of women who have alleged sexual assault and harassment.

So wait a sec. You demand that people answer to Trump's allegations. Each of which have yet to be proven or prosecuted on his part. Are there a lot of accusations? Sure. Did he do it? Maybe. Are they proven? No. Are some of them politically motivated? I'm sure some of them are. Are some of them financially motivated? I'll bet some of them are. But here's the thing... Not one of these examples have anything to do with Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh is his own person and he is a Judge who has been eyed by GOP members long before Trump entered the scene.

All that said, you continue to make demands about Trump, yet you dismiss the questions about Clinton and the one I just pointed out on Ellison. Are their accusers to be believed? If you're going to have a conversation about what might compel someone to speak out against another in the world of politics, have it. I don't defend Trump (unless I see him do something I agree with), I don't even like Trump. But this story is not about Trump, other than the fact he picked Kavanaugh for the SCOTUS.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin I have always answered every allegation about Democrats. When I don't get the same courtesy, I'm not going to just accept it.

I'm sorry but I have yet to see anywhere near the focus you have obviously dedicated on Kavanaugh. I have answered your question, I didn't avoid it, I just don't see why you think Trump's actions have anything to do with this nomination.

This is the tactic, let's keep looking and try to find someone, anyone that will make another allegation from 30+ years ago. From the article:

"In her initial conversations with The New Yorker, she was reluctant to characterize Kavanaugh’s role in the alleged incident with certainty. After six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her attorney, Ramirez said that she felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away. Ramirez is now calling for the F.B.I. to investigate Kavanaugh’s role in the incident. “I would think an F.B.I. investigation would be warranted,” she said."

She has to carefully assess her memory? I am sure she had some help with that. It took her 6 days to be able to remember this? Honestly, they democrats need to do better than this.

In a lead in line fit for the ashbin of history "Democrats are investigating a new allegation of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh. The claim dates to the 1983-84 academic school year, when Kavanaugh was a freshman at Yale University". Democrats are investigating this. I am sure it will be fair. It sounds like they corralled this woman for 6 days and ensured she remembered what they needed her to remember.

Cpl Jeff N. - Ew, Ryan Saavedra. I'll humor you though, as soon as you give me your opinion on Trump's accusers. Just glancing at the article, the first bullet point is misleading.

SSG Jessica Bautista - The women that accused Trump of groping, kissing and/or assault have all but vanished. Since the end of the election cycle I've heard precious little from any of them. You might ask yourself why. I think the reason is that their accusations were politically motivated and/or improvable and pushing further might reveal that. The goal of the accusations was to cause him to lose the election/mission not accomplished so they have mostly disappeared.

If they had a case, they would be pursuing it, would they not? You tell me where they are.

Many are obviously outside of the statute of limitations, others do not want to die on that hill, and there isn't a great success rate on sexual cases. However, there is a lawsuit underway for defamation (libel?) which focuses on Trump calling one of the women a liar. Let's be real, court battles with powerful people are automatically stacked against them.

SSG Jessica Bautista - So, that is your explanation even in the #metoo times we live in. They just don't think they can make a dent. Perhaps you might want to consider the possibility that they have no real case to bring forward.
