What a load of crap.

This isn't a trial, there is not a presumption of innocence in a confirmation hearing, nor is there a right to due process, nor to confront, nor a right to counsel, etc. It's a confirmation hearing, to determine if the Senate will consent to the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. There is no "rule of law" issue here. The Senate can do this however it wants, using whatever procedure that it wants, and whatever standard of proof that it wants.

As Chairman Grassley wrote on Sept. 19th, "The job of assessing and investigating a nominee's qualifications in order to decide whether to consent to the nomination is ours, and ours alone."

This video is nothing more than snowflakes being upset that they don't control the process.

LTC David Brown - that happens all the time, especially with the internet.

CPT Jack Durish - my anti-theism is evident because I'm vocal and won't back down on that subject. My other core motivation is the Constitution and the law. Here, it's fairly clear that I'm not a Trump fan because he's immoral, a liar, and a con man who is unqualified by experience or temperament for the office he holds. But I'm also not a fan of the way that these allegations have been handled. Dr. Ford sent her letter into the Dems back in June or July--she had plenty of time to step up prior to the hearings being initially closed. She should not have been called back to testify, but once the Senate re-convened the hearing, there is not a right to due process for Kavanaugh.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - I don't think he's taking a shot at me on this.

This from people who approve of a president with 12 women who have similar claims against him. But of course women are in grained liars so who needs to listen to then, especially since they might be democrats. Did anyone ask their their political affiliation?
Partisanship be damned how about finding the truth.

What are you hiding?

I guess all men are guilty till proven innocent right? Everyone wants to take more time let things play out. Well maybe Senator DF, from California should let her other members on the committee know about these things earlier. She just wants to obstruct this process in my opinion. And if you want to use this standard to determine someone’s fitness to serve the apply it to everyone on both sides of the aisle, not just Trump people!
