This is an opinion piece that I wholeheartedly agree with. Why are we allowing those whom we differ politically and ideology to assault and bully us? I cannot tell you how many times I've seen video posts of someone getting pummeled while everyone around them is filming it and laughing about it. We are a nation of laws are we not? It's time to enforce those laws and hold those who do harm against someone else to be held accountable. It's time for the elected officials who've told their supporters to get in the face of those who don't agree with you to be held accountable.

Absolutely it should be condemned, just as the violence by white supremacists should have been condemned by the President. When violence is present, in the form of mobs on either side, there are not "many fine people" involved.
Leftist mobs should be shut down and arrested, just as right-wing mobs should be.

But if a DEM got attacked the media would go wild. If a DEM got some stinking REP stick his finger into a DEM salad...that would be news. Outrage is in the eyes of the beholder or the news media.
