So the "story" does not reveal which 6.8 cartridge they chose....meaning this could be a good choice or a stupid one that is just so some 2 star can get his 3rd star having been "instrumental in adoption of the army's new service cartridge"

I liked the 6.5mm rifle that I used to have. Nice little Italian bolt action WWII military rifle.

6.5 is a nice round the 6.8 with grain and powder change much better
