The Army's Body Armor May Be Too Heavy For Soldiers In Combat

I am sure the body armor is much lighter than the flak vests we wore in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. They were a heavy load for sure.

It was pretty damn heavy but worth wearing. Would be nice if they come out with something lighter for the newer troops headed out.
