First Circuit Court Rules Against the Right to Keep and Bear Arms

Why is this important? Because most if not all of us on RP gave an oath to "support and defend" the Constitution of the United States (which includes the Bill Of Rights). We are facing a Constitutional Crisis on many fronts and it is being done in small steps (cuts) and it is part of a deliberate campaign. The 2nd Amendment is the "long pole" in the tent when it comes to our rights and if it falls, the rest will soon follow. What can we do? Start exercising our rights of free speech and assembly. Get active and help elect conservative candidates to all offices & branches of local, state and federal governments.

Get active? I've been active. Sadly, I need to do more. I need to break the law. That's what the gun opponents have been doing. They're breaking election laws, harvesting ballots, to make sure that they take control of state legislatures and Congress so that they can continue to violate the Constitution. Yes, I know it isn't "illegal" in California. They already have a super majority in the state legislature and have made the illegal legal...

CPT Jack Durish - North Carolina, where a crooked campaign by the GOP suppressed minority voters and illegally harvested absentee ballots. You should be concerned about that too. I've not heard anything about California on this topic. No vote should ever be gerrymandered, suppressed, or stolen, by any party. I hope we can at least agree on this.

Are you in some other state where ballot harvesting blatantly affected election outcomes? "...It's a practice long used by special-interest groups and both major political parties that is viewed either as a voter service that boosts turnout or a nefarious activity that subjects voters to intimidation and makes elections vulnerable to fraud...In North Carolina, election officials are investigating whether Republican political operatives in parts of the 9th Congressional District harvested ballots from minority voters and didn't deliver them to the election offices. In some cases they are accused of harvesting ballots that were not sealed and only partially filled out. Ballot harvesting is illegal under state law, which allows only a family member or legal guardian to drop off absentee ballots for a voter." Now here's the part that interesting: In California, ballot harvesting is legal and the GOP is being laughed at for not doing it. Oh, and you heard it here...

I'd like to see an actual news source. I think you'd ask the same.

I'd like to see party influence removed from all election supervision, districting, registration, and ballot handling and counting. When the party in power oversees all aspects of voting, it's too easy for them to cheat.

MSgt Lowell Skelton - I'd love to see "actual news". Sadly, I haven't seen any of that in several decades. Propaganda? Sure, plenty of that. Sorry, I can only provide that which I witness. Once upon a time I could find other witnesses on social media, many posting video of actual news that they witnessed. However, the purveyors of mass media nipped that in the bud. Twitter, Facebook, et al unleashed a horde of "fact checkers" to eliminate any actual witness statement or news that conflicted with their preferred narrative.

I read an article about a month ago, the author was from Venezuela. The author explained how before all the government take over most public business and the laws that soon followed that stifled free speech, and paved the way for the present leaders to take over the running of the country, before all this they passed laws to strip away the right for citizens to bare arms. The author laminated on how that citizens are powerless to take on the corruption of this government. I wish I could find the article again because my trying to explain it here is not doing justice on explain the danger if Our government can disarm American citizens. Venezuela was an up and becoming strong economic country until the present leadership, pushed forward against the original constitution of Venezuela. Pushed in extreme socialism style laws and programs to now the country is bankrupt and people are that can are leaving ind thousands, and those left are finding it hard to find the very basic nessicites in which to live.
Bottom line that is why our founding fathers put in the right to bare arms. This has right has ensured that no dictator or one group can force their will on others and change the constitution as it stands.
