Interesting concept. I do hope that they have a better procurement and production system in place than what caused all the issues w/ the F-35. Also, let's not rush it into production because it would be a shiny new toy.

I agree with everything you said in the lead up to the article. And we still have to figure out how to do the down and dirty troop cover if we are going to get rid of the A-10. A pretty new fighter won't solve that.

Lt Col Charlie Brown we should NEVER get rid of the A-10 until there is a viable replacement - meaning actual sky tank - in the air, not on the drawing board.
