According to the American Psychological Association (APA), being a traditional man is now considered on par with a mental disorder.

More psychobabble from the left,. The APA has become an activist organization pushing leftist causes and beliefs.
“The main thrust of the subsequent research is that traditional masculinity—marked by stoicism, competitiveness, dominance and aggression—is, on the whole, harmful,” the January article from the APA goes on to read. “Men socialized in this way are less likely to engage in healthy behaviors.”
These behaviors have provided the foundation for western society, the society everyone wants to live in but everyone loves to critique. Where would we be without stoicism, competitiveness, dominance and aggression? Nowhere is the answer. Men also practice forgiveness, mercy, justice etc.
These behaviors are normal and have been used to advance the cause of civilization for centuries. They are like any behaviors, if overused or leaned on solely they may do some harm to people. We shouldn't think about behavior as just healthy or unhealthy but necessary or unnecessary (in situations) or appropriate or inappropriate. There are times we need aggression, competitiveness and the like just like we need mercy and forgiveness.
This is another way to attempt to emasculate males and that is the goal of the APA and a number of other organizations.
