That actually might be a way to pay for furloughed services - $5 for three tomatoes to throw at circling bus filled with politicians.

On September 20,1904 the Wright Brothers made the first full circle flight in an airplane. It lasted 1 minute and 36 seconds, covering 4,080 feet in distance. That is exactly 1 minute and 36 seconds more than Nancy got to Fly yesterday! I can see POTUS take a look at staff yesterday and say "State of the Union Postponed, ok, Hold my Beer". I bet the Richter Scale for the Beltway area went up to a level 8 when she found out her flight had been "postponed" Priceless!

And to add to the drama, just published by Fox News: "Meanwhile, the head of the White House budget office issued a memo Friday instructing all agencies that: "Under no circumstances during a government shutdown will any government owned, rented, leased, or chartered aircraft support any Congressional delegation, without the express written approval of the White House Chief of Staff.""

It takes the House, Senate, and President to fund the government. All three branches should remain in DC to get the job done. It should have been done before 30 Sept!
