I have three ars 5.56/300 blk/458 socom I'm going to build me an ar pistol in 5.56 next and then a m-16a1 and am-16a2 the only bad thing about buying and building new guns is I have to build a new gun cabinet

SPC Gary Welch - I like the carbine myself but the 6.5CM needs a 24 inch barrel to reach optimum distance. I'm not sure if I can hit 1,000 yards reliably with a 20" barrel. I guess we'll have to find out.

I went with a Tromix upper, and built up a New Frontier Armory Lower. I had it custom engraved as Caliber: .458 SOCOM instead of Caliber Multi. My mags are laser etched .458 SOCOM and I made sure the correct follower is in there. Reason, no matter what happens in the future, my rifle will always be a 10 rounder.
