True story... One of my best friend’s father was his company commander (then CPT Vukomanovich, retired COL) in Germany! I about died when he told me... I bowled with his son SSG Svetozar Vukomanovich, when we both made the All-Army Bowling Team in the early ‘90s. Thanks for the share John - neat stuff! Rare breeds these days... So many WWII and Korean Vets put their civilian careers on hold when their country called! Wish we had implemented a mandatory service period like many countries of our NATO Allies after Vietnam! Might change our society a bit for the better... All the best kind Sir!
