They have had that land for decades. Just has we have much of the land we got from the Indians. Should we give it back? When does a country keep what they earned in combat? TX, CA. we could be a much smaller country.

GySgt John Olson - I know. But as the original post made a ridiculous statement, I figured I’d ask a ridiculous question. I was looking forward to that answer.

The entry of Texas into the Union is pretty fascinating, actually. Congress did just about everything it could to prevent it from happening for a while. The slave states didn’t want it to happen, the free states didn’t want it to happen. Treaties made, but not ratified. Just a really interesting piece of our history.

GySgt John Olson Should we give those countries back to their previous owners? We give New York back to England...will they rename it Medium Old York?

GySgt John Olson - no worries. I’ll admit, once or twice while Pointing my Rallies, I’ve had to eat sh*t and respond with, ‘you know what, I’m wrong. I was off base with previous posts’. But if shown to be off base, I’ll freely state as such.

But you’re absolutely correct. Most often, folks people simply stop responding, or shift gears and simply pretend that their previous incorrect nonsense never happened. It’s particularly amusing when the person blocks you, also.

Trump is right on this. The Israelis cannot give that land back. It would mean their enemies could fire down on them at any time.

We heard all of the dire predictions when we moved our embassy to Jerusalem. Guess what, the world is still revolving on its axis. It will be the same for this bit as well.
