In the controversial movie JFK , Kevin Costner played this district attorney who was doing his own investigation into the Kennedy assassination and possible conspiracy theories. He was a World War II aviator who became a district attorney and who challenged the vice side of New Orleans. he also wanted Supreme Court battle after his case was thrown out for attacking a government official. The government official did a libel and slander against him and he fought back all the way to the Supreme Court. In many respects, this is a Democrat that many Republicans would like to have on their side.
