Saw this on the evening news shortly after it happened.

This smells like a false flag, maybe to test response.
If it really was a serious attempt, it was amateur hour.

Not to get too much in the weeds on this. But the threat vector of a cellphone and thumb drive is why she was caught, its old vectors.
