That's it?!? Duct tape???
I thought I was about read about beat downs or cutting or something actually painful.
With the mental softness we let in the military these days, it's not surprising at the amount of PTSD that results from even percieved hardships.

What happens to the hazers?
If you are going to fire Squadron Commanders and end their careers you need the same level of punishment to the ones that actually conduct the hazing.

But when the hammer fell on you I am sure the shit flowed down hill.
Being hammered as an E4 (BTDT) was not a career ender like being relieved of command.

This hardly seems like something we should be firing field grade commanders for.
Maybe I'm just old school, but so long as no one is hurt, I don't see what the big deal is.
