Those are all new to me. Disappearing weapons were not a popular thing - that resulted in the entire post going into lockdown. But....

....In the TXARNG, when I was an MP, we were directed to go down to the Fort Hood commissary and get all the tactical vehicles (from the TXARNG folks) out of the parking lot, and to check for unsecured sensitive items. When we found unsecured radios, we took them out and put them in our vehicle in the corner of the lot, and waited through a few minutes of stark terror on behalf of the troops before giving them back their radios and informing them that the division CSM doesn't want tactical vehicles at the commissary. (At which point, we'd frequently get the commentary on that policy that we had absolutely nothing to do with creating. I didn't like being an MP.)
