This has made me wonder for a long time. How can Universal Basic Income work and be fair. It causes inflation and it has to come from somewhere. Money does not grow on trees. It comes from our pocket.

Easy, Government confiscates property from one group that would never vote for them and gives it to another group that has been victimized by the government but they are too gullible to understand that they have been manipulated their entire lives. Repeat system every 4 years.
