Sicarios (Cartel Hit men) Use GoPro To Record Deadly Assault In Broad Daylight

Brutal footage out of Mexico shows sicarios (cartel hitmen) using a GoPro type camera to record an attack on Feb. 5, 2019, which resulted in the deaths of at least four people and a fifth being seriously wounded.
The video shows speed, surprise, and violence of action as the assault team rolls up in two vehicles. They dump several rounds of ammunition toward their targets before moving in closer to execute survivors. The attackers then advance through the dwelling to see if there are any more targets. Shots can be heard offscreen. The attackers hastily recover to their vehicles to exfiltrate the scene.
The gunmen reportedly belong to the Santa Rosa de Lima cartel, a rapidly rising criminal organization that has spread from Guanajuato into Querétaro and Hidalgo. The gang is said to have tripled in size and power in two short years. The cartel’s main racket is stealing oil from the many ducts and production facilities in their area of operation.

LTC Stephen F. - Yes it is an exaggeration of reality but there is no sarcasm or irony indicating disagreement and her comments are also a semi-standard sound bite of the rabid right that they tend to truly believe to be factually correct.

I also absolutely agree with your closing comment: "Statistics don't lie but, liars use statistics" which, of course, goes along with "Figures don't lie, but liars figure" and one of my favorite Mark Twain quotes: "Lies, damned lies and statistics". Nonetheless, crime rates have been trending down.
Most illegal immigration results from overstayed visas granting lawful entry to the US through an airport or seaport; not sneaking across the southern border. Businesses like the Trump Organization sponsor foreign nationals to take jobs in the US and help get foreign workers visas to work at their companies. When the visa expires, the foreign worker is suppose to go home, but as recent news reports point out, Mr Trump's companies never sent the workers back and continued to employ them as illegal aliens. Trump also employed illegal aliens that never had work visas too.
Trump's actions impacting veterans is mixed at best. I give him credit for things like the Forever GI Bill but Trump has also slashed and eliminated rules/regulations designed to protect current service members and veterans. Whether it is protection from predatory lenders and bogus financial products, or for profit schools looking to cash in on GI Bill money, Trump has significantly tipped the scales against us. Additionally, roughly 30% of the federal workforce are military veterans and quite a few federal workers are military spouses too. Trump's hiring freeze screwed a lot of veterans and military spouses out of jobs. His hiring freeze has also hurt veterans who rely on the VA for treatment. Trump's government shutdowns also screwed over veterans and reservists. Veterans make up a large portion of the government contractors that were hurt by the Trump shutdowns. Fortunately his proposal to cut benefits for disabled veterans was shot down after the public outcry. Trump's actions limited job prospects, hurt health care, and damaged retirements.

SFC (Join to see) - I knew if I poked long enough the Trump hate would come out ! Overstayed Visa is a big problem just as much as Illegals crossing into this country through our unsecured southern borders. Which I point out is a crime !
Here in Texas spring up companies form over night. The very next day they are building fences for homeowners in new sub divisions without bond or securities. These companies do not obey the law. The do not call for locates ,which is state and federal law ! The spring up company usually cuts communication facilities and interrupt services to include 911 service which I will also point out is a crime ! Once they figured out that they have damaged facilities they vacate the scene of the crime. We have to go after the home owner to seek damage claim.
This type of crime happens daily here in Texas on a grand scale. There are so many pop up companies that spring up over night and are dissolved in 24 hours. Not to mention the theft and insurance fraud on job sites. So do please tell me that crime is down ! Crime is crime period, but your stats will not inform you of this !

BTW, I am an equal opportunity hater. I hate the Trump cult and I hate the Clinton cult. Both cult figures are horrible people and their cult followers who blindly follow them regardless of how awful they act are much of what's wrong with this country. I've disliked Trump since the 1980's when he killed the USFL and I've dislike Hillary since she tried to be co-President in early 1990's. I wish Trump would have kept his campaign promise to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton and "lock her up", but like so many of his promises it simply failed to materialize.

This is not about the border. It is about this nation's drug problem. AS long as there is the huge demand for drugs, there will be people willing to fight and die for the money involved. No wall is going to stop that.
