I go every year. I just haven't been here on Memorial day. I will be gone again this year..

My daughter has volunteered several times to place wreaths. She said that she cannot describe the feeling it gives to walk among our fallen and be able to take part.

I have had the Honor to place flags on our fallen comrades resting places. It is humbling and sad at the same time. I have also had the Honor to escort one of my soldiers to Arlington National Cemetery and observe first had the ceremony and the interment. It brought tears to my eyes.
