MY COMMENT:
Whistleblowers already have laws that protect them. Military personnel the world over have ZERO protection against legislative loose lips. The less they know, the better. Only very few people should have the need to know about specific oversease contingency operations, which is especially critical lately since a certain former Secretary of State (John Kerry) and others (John Brennan) have shown a propensity to communicate directly with adversarial regimes, such as Iran. We have ONE set of legitimate public servants, elected and appointed, not TWO or MORE. Until the Deep State is dissolved they will continue to be an intelligence threat we cannot afford to ignore.

With all due respect, PROVE IT, GENTLEMEN. Obama moved from the White House to a local compound he immediately gated and walled. Who moved in? His former Rasputin incarnate, Valerie Jarrett. From Spy-Gate (before Trump was elected and then sworn in, and up until and including today), bureaucrats and former elected officials have interfered with, spied on and obfuscated directives, orders and edicts from a duly elected president and his administration in an effort to unseat him. Soft coup, insurrection, treason all come to mind, with Kerry, Brennan, Comey, Holder, Mueller, Biden, et. al., ad nauseam. Oh, and let's not forget the Clintons. Oddly, and another Iranian adviser: Huma Abedin. They are all intertwined, them and their Fake News media relatives and sycophants. By denying the Deep State you are enabling it. Obama and his gang take every opportunity to undercut the enormous success President Trump has had, at home and abroad. America IS Great Again despite Deep State and Swamp and Never Trumpers and Dumbocrat efforts to the contrary. And the American People are catching on.

LTC Jason Mackay - As have members of the Executive Branch. The mishandling of classified information is not limited to Congress. In any event, Shanahan's gag rule can be overruled by a Congressional subpoena for either documents or testimony.
