Excellent article - thanks!
Always enjoyed maps of all types and have collected many over the years to include topo (LandNav). Actually created a few company specific ones - often the "brain trust" would rely on an XLS of places, equipment and locations w/o being able to visualize let alone understand the actual intricacies, challenges and opportunities that can be more easily understood by seeing a spatial depiction (and in many ways the manner suggested in the article).
In other words, as folks in Missouri know: (don't tell me) Show Me!
