If Kamala Harris is the winner, We the People are the losers, really big losers. For as much as President Trump is castigated for sleeping around (as did Democratic heroes JFK, LBJ, and especially Bill Clinton), at least it was at the profit of the women with whom they slept. Kamala slept around for her own profit. Beyond that, she has no executive experience, none whatsoever. In unraveling President Trump's initiatives, she would unravel the national economy which is, for now, booming...

Jack, where did it say she slept around for her own profit? By the way, I thought Pete Buttigieg had more poise and clarified his positions better than most of the rest.

I guess you don't live in Kamala's home state, California, and are unaware of her rise to fame and power by lying on her back for Willie Brown. Not all profit comes in greenbacks, but still on their backs...

I've been saying for a while now that I think Senator Harris wins the Democratic Nomination. She checks all the right boxes for identity politics, and has built in advantages in fundraising in a critical state, California. She has until recently been pretty careful to not get mired in the tar pits of the far left. Her record as a prosecutor is a thorny one in the primaries, but should play well in the general election.
Having said that, there is no way that any of these candidates could get any of these proposals through Congress, and they know it. There is no way that they can pay for any of these proposals, much less all of them. And there is no way that they'd have a ghost of a chance in the election in 2020 if their opponent wasn't so reviled by so many.
If just one of them could articulate a realistic, pragmatic, and sensical way forward for the country I would seriously consider them in 2020, but I heard none of that. Trump will win in 2020 unless someone on that stage the last two nights figures it out.
