I had one or two who were really excited to be issued two pair of shoes and a pair of boots. They were great airmen who worked really hard and got promoted.

Jack, what they describe is The Garden of Eden prior to the serpent. My question is why would anyone want to go to work? You get a free college education, free health care, $1000 a month coupled with an additional $500 a month. I am sure that with all that, housing will be free, no utility Bill's, free cable and internet, free smart phones, etc, etc, etc.
What they don't want for America is personal responsibility, the right to go to work everyday to earn a living, the right to not buy everything your heart desires but to save and invest, the right to save money for your children so they will have the finances to go to the tech school or college they want. And as you mentioned, the right to enlist in the armed forces of the US and use the GI bill for your education.

You got that right. The only individual liberty they want is freedom from responsibility
