Sort of reminds me of the time when there was the draft. Infantry is a way of life, and if your motives to be there are for a different reason (money) it will weaken the effectiveness of it's purpose.

I know this won't happen but if they invested that for 30 years at 10% growth rate, the terminal value will be around $793,495.97.
