Army Now Offering Recruits up to $40,000 to Join the Infantry

Sort of reminds me of the time when there was the draft. Infantry is a way of life, and if your motives to be there are for a different reason (money) it will weaken the effectiveness of it's purpose.

I'm to old now but wounded if they will back date it back when I was 11B.

Too bad I can't rejoin the military, that's a good size chunk of money.
