I believe in the woman's right to control her own body, and legally, the State doesn't have a right to interfere until the third trimester (when the fetus becomes viable). No one has the right to demand the use of someone else's body.

Most illegal immigrants are from visa overstays, which a wall would not help. For those that cross the border illegally, minor children are not criminally liable. In addition, in many cases, asylum seekers tried to properly present themselves at a port of entry and were illegally turned away. They then crossed the bordered and surrendered themselves, requesting asylum once they were in the United States.

The Democrats are doing what they do, because that's who they are. You don't get upset at a dog for pissing on a fire hydrant, because that's what dogs do.

Sanctuary is a different matter, where the cities and counties are correct from a legal standpoint. If ICE wants someone held, they can do the same thing that every other law enforcement agency has to do, which is go to a judge and get a warrant. As it is, ICE wants to just send an email and have the county hold someone without charges. Then, as has happened numerous times, if the detainee is a citizen or an LPR (green card), and sues for unlawful restraint, the county is on its own because ICE won't indemnify them.

As to gun ownership? Yes, I own several guns, and have been a firearms instructor for several decades, and am trained as an H&K armorer.

Burning the flag (or for that matter, taking a knee) is free speech. I don't necessarily like that speech, but it is protected by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Going through your questions from your previous post:
1. Yes, we need to protect our rights. That includes protecting our rights from religiously based laws.
2. No, we are not one vote away from anarchy. We are already a socialist country, so that question is moot. You may want to look at the Daily Kos article, "75 Ways Socialism Has Improved America", which lists socialist programs and impacts that are already here.
3. Yes, I have answers as to crime, although there is not an "onslaught" of crime. Crime is way down from where it had been. Violent crime peaked between 1986-1995, and has dropped steadily since then. Currently, the crime rate is about what it was in the 1950s. You may want to see Nathan James, Recent Violent Crime Trends in the United States,
Congressional Research Service, June 20, 2018. That report states that "At the national level, violent crime and homicide rates increased from 2014 to 2015 and again from 2015 to 2016, but both rates remain near historical lows."

SGT Steve McFarland - see my response to TSgt George Rodriguez. He should be aware of the harm of fundamentalist religion, just based on where he now lives, where one group of Christians went after other Christians who opposed school sponsored prayer, see Bell v. Little Axe Ind. School Dist., 766 F.2d 1391 (10th Cir., 1985).

Thank you for your clarification on some of the questions I asked. It seems that we are at odds concerning some of my thoughts.
I too believe that women have rights over their bodies. What about the fetus rights? As a retired paramedic I have transported neonatal children that have survived after 3 months of gestation. The women have a right to prevent childbirth by using contraceptives as well as the man. There are drugs out there called the day after pills that will prevent accidental conception.
What you considered illegal immigrants that have overstayed their visa's at least came into this country initially legally as compared to those that jumped the wall. How many came with families as compared to single males? When an individual commits a crime and is incarcerated his family with children are separated.

Sanctuary cities will not take all the immigrants but want us to take them where they are not wanted. A lot of immigrants are carrying diseases that have been irradicated many years ago. When I was stationed in Thailand, Vietnam fell and we had an influx of refugees. All wanted Asylum. We set up a medical field where they were tested and declared free and clear of diseases before entry to the US those that weren't were sent to camps on Guam where they were treated before being allowed to enter the US. How many of those that jump the wall have medical records to prove their free and clear of any disease.
As a firearms owner due you not agree that our 2nd amendment rights are under assault by the gun grabbers? Yes during 1986 thru 1995 Clinton had a ban on guns prohibiting the population from purchasing firearms which made it more difficult for the average citizen to own them. This didn't prevent the thugs from gaining the and using them. Since then the laws make it easier for the people to own them for self protection.
Burning the flag and taking a knee is protected by the constitutional 1st amendment. But burning a Gay pride flag is considered a hate crime. Where is my freedom of speech?
Churches are run by men. Men have interpreted the bible to suit their own needs.
Their are religious factions out there that want us to believe that they are right and no one else is. There are factions that scream kill the infidel.
Although we are in disagreement on some items we still have the right to our own thoughts. I agree to disagree with you as you have the right to disagree with me.
