It always seems to me that when a military person is accused of a crime, we are shocked. Why? Our military are a sample of our citizenry. Some good, some bad. Just because a person puts on a uniform does not mean they have accepted the concept of Honor, Duty, Country that our military represent.
There will always be those that desire to take advantage of their unique position for personal gain.
Anyone remember SGM Wooldridge? I do. I was there at the time.

Arrested, not charged or convicted just yet. We just watched the military botch a trial for a Navy SEAL accused of murdering a captured enemy combatant. The military in general and the Marine Corps specifically sometimes cast a very wide net. If they are found guilty of human trafficking or the other crimes mentioned in the article then they deserve full prosecution.

I think they should change venue to a civilian court because these are Title 18 violations which are not part of the UCMJ
