CMSgt (Join to see) Did you happen to watch a Chicago LEO decrying the $100 fine for possessing a weapon? He said gang bangers can readily come up with a 100, that a fine of $1000 or more would incentivize them to not carry.

Do you want to know what kills more people in this country than anything else? Lack of having a father in the home. Now this is a very broad statement but demographics and mental health professionals will agree with this all day long. We spend a tremendous amount of time diagnosing the end result (the disease) and relatively no time talking about the sickness that got us here. God bless us America and our all of our families, we need it.

LTC (Join to see) - You're spot on. Destruction of the nucleus family has been the leading cause of the future bad decisions. Without proper role models more have ended up in jail than in prior decades.
Then makingit harder for citizens to defend themselves emboldens more people to participate in more crime.

LTC (Join to see) Aug 6, 2019. FoxTV’s, Laura Ingram show featured Reverend Bill Owens, founder of the Coalition of African Pastors and author of a forthcoming book, “A Dream Derailed””. Rev Owens spoke of the breakup of families caused by LBJ’s War on Poverty which had as many as 100,000 federal social workers ensuring that Black women did not have a Black fathers living in the house while they were on assistance programs.
Rev Owens further stated that until 2015, LBJ had been his hero, until discovery of the Black fathers being evicted.
