I firmly believe the problems for soldiers are the treatment they get from unit leaders and the smooth transition to the VA.

Finance is a joke and incompetent. How many people separate and find out they owe money after being audited?
Even though you file the right papers and do everything you are supposed to, they bungle your papers and you leave the service with a big fat debt to carry through no fault of your own.
