Mobile police have arrested a teenager in connection to a shooting at Ladd Peebles Stadium on Friday night. Battiste said the shooting stemmed from a fight, and Parnell pulled out a gun and started “indiscriminately shooting.” Some of the victims have been released from the hospital, but it is not clear how many.

Where did a 17 year old get a concealable firearm? The law clearly states that you have to be 21 to obtain something like that. In August in Alabama, he definitely didn’t have anything bigger than a pistol.

Most states allow for private party sales and gifts to someone 18 years old. He likely had access to a family members firearm.

I have personally legally sold a pistol to a 18 year old.
