I really only agree with 2 of these; and only generically. I can get behind a pump 12ga, and an AR15, but which ones? All of his choices are decades old. There are a ton of guns out there that are great for police.
The Smith & Wesson, M&P in 9mm, or .40 should be on there. Maybe one of the new box magazine, pump shotguns (although they should probably go through more testing first).
What say you? Which guns are great choices for police departments?

I think they all work fine for a police department, I just like them all. But if I had a choice between my, Sig-226 or Glock-17, I'll take the Glock, I just like the feel better in the hand, with my Glock-17 Gen-4.

I'm more about standardizing the ammo , than the weapons. Not everyone has the same size hands. The long gun in a carbine length, for me, is a better option in a Law Enforcement situation. The scatter gun, hmmm, I don't want to have to rack the slide for every shot. I have a Mossberg 930 in the "Blackwater" config. Loads the same as the standard pump, pull the charging handle and it's 6shots(plug out) for 6 trigger pulls.

SGT (Join to see) It has been quite a few years since I drove a cruiser, but we all had Benelli Tactical shotguns locked to the dash board, no pumping required. Not cheap either!
