I just caught something Monday. I am hoping it is not the flu. I am already coughing up an infection. As a teacher, I take all contagious diseases seriously.

SGT (Join to see) As you know better than most, your being a teacher exposes you to so much. In the past 50 years I had a cold once and the flu once, both were gifts brought home from school by my children. I have always had problems getting my children to wash their hands often enough.

Rational precautions should be the standard. Apparently most kids shake it off pretty well. Seniors and those with compromised immune systems are most at risk, just like the case with the annual flu
