5 Reasons Why Employers Are Not Hiring Vets

Question for prospective employers: Iraq and Afghanistan vets...to hire or not to hire?
As a transitioning service member I can attest that this is one of our biggest fears. Will we be able to make a successful transition back to civilian life? Are we destined to work in Federal or Defense jobs forever because that is what we know or are comfortable with? Will a prospective employer really see my skills or resume for what it is worth? Roughly 250,000 service members hang up the uniform each year. Each of us bring skills and knowledge back to our communities. As one of those 250,000 this year, what are the most important issues that you as a prospective employer have?
