I didn’t realize all guard units have a direct like to superiors in the Pentagon. Still no talk about personnel offers to the Capital Complex before January 6th and no discussion of Pelosi‘s role in why security wasn’t better. And last but not least wanting to charge someone with a crime for their Freedom of Speech.

The Speaker of the House does not control Capitol Security. This has been posted on here multiple times.
The House and Senate Sergeants at Arms provide security along with the Capitol Police. The Sergeants at Arms do report to their perspective leaders - House Sergeant at Arms reports to Speaker of the House, Senate Sergeant at Arms reports to the Senate Majority Leader.
The House sergeant at arms is the one who resisted calls from Capitol Police to bring in the National Guard for extra security because of "optics" he said. He later testified that intelligence reports didn't show the need for extra security. THAT is who declined the Capitol Security request for extra security. Not Nancy Pelosi.
