It is embarrassing watching those that have benefited from freedom, equality, the right of self determination, justice under the law and all of the benefits we as American's enjoy support a regime that is the antithesis of all of this.
Players support a regime trying to squash people that want to speak freely, live freely, worship freely and what do American athletes do? Exactly what the NBA and Nike tell them to do, support the totalitarian communist regime squashing those pretesting for freedom. Why, because there is lots of money being made in China. What are the human rights of the people measured against the NBA and Nike profits, apparently not a damned thing.
This is the 2019 Tiananmen square moment and US athletes are on the wrong side of history. Disappointing but unfortunately not surprising.
