US forces scramble for Syria exit as Trump announces sanctions on Turkey

Past time we leave that quagmire.

We are not making progress here

There are so many evil people on the battlefield in Syria that it is difficult to pick the team with the least black hats.
Is it the Turks, currently bombing civilian targets including hospitals?
Is it Assad, currently systematically killing and imprisoning people who are opposed to his regime, with a consistent history of bombarding civilians in cities including with chemical weapons?
Is it Iran and their allies Hezbollah, who are clearly operating in Syria as a means to stockpile weaponry for use against Israel?
Is it ISIS.. well yes, it is ISIS. But they are largely defeated and fears of ISIS' resurgence are greatly exaggerated.
What I know is that with ISIS out of the way, the problem is no longer ours. I decry the tactics Turkey is using but this is simply not our problem anymore. A handful of SF Soldiers wasn't going to change this outcome, anyway.
