Democrats Star Witness Marie Yovanovitch Accused Of PERJURY In Impeachment Inquiry

Star witness and former Ukrainian Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch may have committed perjury according to a new report form Tucker Carlson and Fox news.
According to several reports, an email obtained by Fox news showed that Yovanovitch responded to a democratic staffer after claiming under oath that she did not respond to the staffer.
Questions about who met with Adam Schiff's team and other democrats before the official investigation into the whistleblower complaints as well as whether or not Yovanovitch lied are being raised, mostly by conservatives.
Once again this all falls onto tribal lines with most of the left ignoring the story or assuming Fox news is lying.
Meanwhile the left is currently questioning whether the real offense was Donald Trump JR tweeting out a publicly available news story with the whistleblowers name in it.
Never mind that Obama was notorious for going after whistleblowers.

People conveniently forget that being a whistleblower doesn't come with anonymity; it does mean you can't be fired or attacked for being one. And Don T, Jr had to be given the information by someone else since he doesn't have access...so he can only "tweet" out what is leaked to him.

Perjury is perjury.
No one "made" her testify that she hadn't responded to that email - her private email, not official correspondence to a congressional staffer. She knew her official email was public and available for review. It is not an accident that she did her correspondence this way.
Now in the big picture, it won't matter to the things Trump is accused of. But it does undercut her testimony, and opens up a similar line of questioning with other witnesses. The premise that this is all contrived by Schiff is out there, and this furthers that counter-narrative.

the real big picture is none of this legit, it's truly just political theater for the next election. It's also for those down the line to try and claim the "legitimacy" of this. Think back and think of all those people who still think Trump is a Russian Asset or think Kavanaugh raped Ford and she had "witnesses." Year(s) down the line from now, when this has faded from public consciousness, certain individuals will just use this as political ammunition.
