I suggest the veteran take his or her DD214 to the Base Entrance location and get a letter.

Yes, but the good ole DOD has not decided on what will be required yet. They did discuss using vets VA Health card but no decisions yet.

I was informed by our VA rep at our VA office, that our VA ID that has printed on it, "Service Related" will get me threw the gate check, as well as the commissary and exchange, starting Jan. 01, 2020.
If my VA-ID does, with the gate control that we have here on Guam's AF and Naval base, I'm sure it''ll get others in locations with less control access. The access control is tuff here, duo to the Nuk Subs, and Bombers on the Guam bases.

Hey SGT,
I'm not sure how wise it is to talk about the assets stationed in Guam, even if an internet search would ultimately deliver that info - but do you really want to help people find stuff like that by talking openly about it?
No disrespect intended! Thank you for your service to our fine nation!

SFC (Join to see) - Everybody in the world knows that there are Nuk Subs stationed on Guam, and that there are Bombers with Nuk on Guam.
That's why the North Koreans said publicly that Guam is a target for their missiles, and China sure knows it too.
In essence, as all military's in other country's know, that Guam is just a place where the US can strike any country in the world.
No need to worry about the information that I said about, it just tells other country's, "We're here, and don't forget it!"
And if anyone on Guam don't like that Guam is a target, then, move to the mainland.
We have a saying here, "Guam, where america's day begins", we are one day ahead of the mainland.
