Let me say first, I don't want or excuse any innocent person of any race/gender/nationality being killed by the police but this narrative that black men are at risk from the police is a threat to the black community, imo.

NYPD killed eight people last year. Of these killings, only four of them were black. ALL OF THEM were armed with some sort of cutting instruments. “2014 Annual Firearms Discharge Report”

I agree with the Facts NOT the rhetoric ! Facts are that Many more innocent 'white' males are killed by Cops than 'black' males ! TY Charlie !

It seems these fact-based discussions are not allowed in today's PC climate.
If only professional athletes would take a knee for the needless deaths of black Americans resulting from gang violence. Perhaps a movement could take hold that everyone could support. I suspect the biggest hurdle would be the Hip-Hop community that makes billions off the backs of gang culture.
