I think revoking someones rewards for posing with a dead person would have set a new precedent. Never saw that happen in the past in the entire GWOT and it has happened in the past where folks have desecrated the dead in the U.S. Army and Marine Corps. Give the guy a letter of reprimand and force him to retire.........that was done in the past with cases such as this. This Navy Secretary was trying to nail the guy to the wall. For what purpose exactly? Also, don't view descrating the dead as a war crime. Yes it should be disciplined when it happens. You only die once however, the corpse does not die a second time due to desecration.

Cpl Jeff N. - Lol what are you talking about? Why do you get so worked up about anything I say? It is useless to have a discussion with you. If I comment on your threads it's usually with other people. Not you.
Lol correcting my BS...that's a great one. Wow. I don't block people I disagree with unlike some others on here who get so butthurt by my comments. You're the one who gets corrected all - the - time though.

Erich, the Army pulled Golsteyn's SF tab, that's the same as pulling the trident. Golsteyn also had his Silver Star revoked.

I don't trust Huffington Post. Glad the SEAL situation was made right by POTUS.
