A sizable group of local musicians gets together at least once a year to do a tribute to Levon’s midnight remakes and the Last Waltz. The most recent one was this past Saturday and it was one of the best concert experiences I’ve ever had

A buddy from New York says Levon hosts a charitable party once a year at his house...all you can drink, eat and smoke. I dont know how to get on the list but I bet it would be a great time.

Thank you, my friend SGT (Join to see) for posting the music video of the former backup band for Bob Dylan which was named "The Band" performing their farewell concert at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom on November 25, 1976.
Excellent musicians one and all. Canadian-American roots rock group including Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel, Robbie Robertson, and Levon Helm.
