Good. Maybe it's a start to remembering the rule of law.

SFC John Wade - What was illegal about the warrant? Wasn't it presented to a FISA judge and that judge issued the warrant?

SFC John Wade - First, if you are going to comment on this intelligently, you need to get your facts correct. None of the four FISA judges involved were nominated by Obama, or for that matter, by any Democrat. George W. Bush nominated Rosemary Collyer to D.C. federal court, and Michael Mosman to the District of Oregon. Ann Conway was a George H.W. Bush pick to the Middle District of Florida. Ronald Reagan tapped Raymond J. Dearie to take a seat in the Eastern District of New York. All are GOP judges, not Democratic judges.

Second, Obama was not involved, nor was the FBI agents "Obama controlled." Those are talking points from the thoroughly debunked Nunes letter. Quite simply, those allegations are not true.

Third, there was credible evidence that Carter Page was an agent for Russia, and this evidence predated Page's involvement with the Trump campaign, and one of the Russians that Page was involved with pleaded guilty to being an agent of Russia and was sentenced to 2-1/2 years in prison.

Fourth, have you even read the warrant application? Including the renewals? All 400+ pages of it?

Fifth, how does any of that violate the "rule of law" in any manner? To the contrary, it follows the rule of law. Do you even understand what the "rule of law" means? It means "the restriction of the arbitrary exercise of power by subordinating it to well-defined and established laws." Even if you go to Black's Law Dictionary and look at the different sub-definitions, it comes out to the same thing. The warrant process used on the Page warrant and its renewal is following the rule of law to the letter, not disregarding it.

And finally, when I asked what rule of law wasn't followed, you cited an example where it was followed, to the letter, but partisan talking points allege that it was not--and you just jumped on the band wagon without fact-checking any of the data that was available. That's a problem.

SFC John Wade - Please provide evidence supporting your assertion. Thus far, there is no evidence to suggest that anything of the sort happened.

Second, please explain your comment that an "Obama judge" issued the warrant. Exactly which Obama-appointed judge are you speaking of?

Third, if you can't provide either of these, please rationally explain why I should give your position any credit or credence.

SFC John Wade - Obama didn't ask for a FISA warrant against Trump, and there is no evidence that he had anything to do with it. The warrant was requested by the FBI for Carter Page BEFORE he was associated with the Trump campaign.

Again, provide evidence to support your assertion, or admit that you really don't have a clue. Second, exactly which Obama-appointed judge or are talking about?

If you want things that Obama did wrong, there are plenty of them in the record. You don't need to fabricate stuff or to repeat bogus Trump talking points.

This is an issue that amazes me. Conservatives are always stressing limited power in the Federal government, and yet they are supporting a man that is reaching for unlimited power.

Please don't point that out Mr. Quinn, as it exposes our hypocrisy!!!! Pointing out your hypocrisy is too easy. If you had an ounce of integrity, you three clowns would say something like "you know, he is right. Obama did it as well and we said nothing, so we have no place to say anything now."

BTW. Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow. Maybe choking on a wishbone, will rattle some sense into y'all?

Downvoted for inappropriate personal attacks on other viewpoints, and "choking on a wishbone" is clearly inappropriate.

Wait, this was not your thread, you attack me on here and I respond and you block me? Wow.....stand up guy.

Inappropriate? Look at the whole context of what I wrote, it was entirely about pulling your head out. Yet you know that and you feign outrage.

What a joke.
