There was a hearing in DC today regarding the UNHEALTHY living conditions in Base housing.
Maureen Elliot who lives on Fort Hood is fighting for her life and her kids. Her Kids are sick every day and have been for a long time.
Why is it that this all started back in February and it is still going on? Why is it that the BASES have not cleaned up their base housing? Why is it that the BASES STILL have NOT done anything about this?

If it wasn't for the black mold, asbestos, and lead paint, I am pretty sure my first barracks in Harmony Church would have fallen down.

The base housing at Ft Leavenworth told a CPT he could not live on post because is gets more BAH from MAJs. They are profit motivated. Increase revenues and decrease expenses.
